Summer Internship Assistance

Providing support for students participating in summer internships. This scholarship helps students cover the costs associated with summer internships, allowing them to gain valuable work experience without financial constraints.

About the Award

Supports students conducting summer research at educational/research institutes across India.
Award amount: Rs. 1,10,000 total (divided among 3-5 awardees)
Open to BE/MSc students (any year/branch) enrolled at the Goa campus.
Selection based on research experience, project proposal, and personal statement.

Application Process:

Interested students should prepare a single PDF document that:
         1]Explains the objective and intent of their summer research project (max 200 words)
         2]Explains their past research experiences (max 300 words)
         3]Includes a personal statement on why they feel that they should get this award (max 300 words)
         4]Prepare a CV (not more than 2 pages)

In addition, the student should submit an acceptance letter on the institute letterhead from their supervisor of the host institute clearly mentioning:
         1]The title and duration of the summer research project
         2]If the student would receive any financial/residential support from the host institute/professor
         3]The type of research project: Online / Onsite

Besides, any other documents supporting their motivation (eg: papers published or posters presented) can also be sent along with the aforementioned set of documents.
Tentative timeline –
         1]15 January – 15 March : Application submission
         2]April: Evaluation period
         3]May 1st week: Results announced
